Students Return To Newly Renovated Yeshiva

The Talmidim of Tomchei Temimim Queens returned to Yeshiva for the Zman Hakayitz last week. They were pleasantly surprised to see an unrecognizable Yeshiva! Over the Pesach break, the dorms and classrooms were renovated • Full Story, Photo Gallery

The new Vaad Hapoel of the Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Queens put tremendous work into making sure the Bachurim can enjoy a newly renovated dorm for the last Zman of the year.

Tens of workers worked throughout the Pesach break in renovating the dorms. In addition, they added rooms in the basements of the dorms for relaxing time, where the Talmidim can learn and read, or go to the game room.

The Talmidim were also surprised to learn that the Yeshiva rented another floor of classrooms, a teachers room and offices. This will make the Yeshiva a lot more spacious.

The new Zman began with an assembly of all the Talmidim. Menahel Ruchni of the Yeshiva, rabbi Mendel Scharf thanked the Vaad for their work, making sure the Bochurim are comfortable so that they are able to learn properly. Vaad members rabbi Mendel Yusewitz and rabbi Mendy Hendel spoke to the Bochurim too, they encouraged the Bochurim to start with a new Koch in learning as they enter a new Zman. They also discussed their future plans for the Yeshiva.
