Specially Produced “Kazayis Matzos” Distributed to Soldiers on the Frontlines in Ukraine

The Rebbe’s Shluchim, together with the Federation of Jewish Communities in Ukraine (FJCU), have recently completed the distribution of Shmura Matzos to tens of thousands of Jewish households across the country. For the fourth consecutive year, despite the increasing missile attacks on major cities, nighttime curfews, and many young Jewish soldiers fighting on the frontlines, dozens of public Pesach Seders will once again be organized by the Rebbe’s Shluchim with the support of the Federation • Read More, Photos

This year, for the first time, soldiers received specially produced Kazayis-sized matzos—the smallest matzos in the world. These matzos were baked in the Chabad matzah bakery in Dnipro, Ukraine, with each matzah measuring approximately 18 cm in diameter compared to the standard 30 cm. This design allows soldiers to carry them easily without taking up too much space. Seder kits were also distributed on the frontlines.

Rabbi Meir Stambler, Chabad Shliach and chairman of the Jewish communities in Ukraine, stated:

“After four bitter years of war, we are certain that this upcoming Festival of Freedom will bring us to Jerusalem, the Holy City, where we will partake in the sacrifices of Pesach—together with the Rebbe at our forefront.”
