Special Evening Honors Yearlong Study of Likkutei Sichos
A special evening was held at Getzel Shul in Crown Heights to honor students of Rabbi Levi Reizes in Kvutzah 5785 for their dedication to studying Likkutei Sichos throughout the year. The evening was hosted by Hatomim Nehorai Shapir, who expressed the group’s appreciation to Rabbi Levi Reizes, their mentor, for guiding them in the study of Likkutei Sichos and for being a supportive presence throughout the year. Shapir presented Rabbi Reizes with a special gift: a picture of The Rebbe.
The program featured words of inspiration from Rabbi Shmuel Avtzon and the mashgichim Rabbi Gedalia Bluming and Rabbi Yechimelech Friedman. The evening concluded with remarks from Rabbi Levi Reizes, who shared personal stories about his father, Rabbi Yosef Ben Zion Reizes, whose yahrtzeit falls on 9 Elul.
As a highlight of the event, Rabbi Reizes presented certificates of achievement and dollars received from The Rebbe, to each student who consistently participated in Likkutei Sichos study throughout the year.
The official program was followed by a warm and joyous farbrengen that continued into the early morning hours, celebrating the dedication and growth of the students.
