Cusco, a city in the Peruvian Andes, at 11,000 feet above sea level, was once capital of the Inca Empire, and is now known for its archaeological remains and Spanish colonial architecture. Today, it’s a tourist hotspot for Israeli backpackers who finished the army, and travel through South America.

The Shluchim Rabbi Ofer and Mrs. Yael Kripor worked tirelessly around the year, to enhance the tourist experience every day, physically and spiritually, with both a dairy and meat restaurant, minyanim around the clock, learning classes, and all kinds of interactive Jewish activities.

The preparations for Pesach began a few months ago to prepare and organize the huge seder, it involves shechting  over two and a half thousand chickens and ten cows to accommodate the thousands of Jewish guests passing through the city this month alone, and hundreds of pounds of Matzah and wine.

Over 20 Bochurim were flown down in order to help out the Shluchim and thousands tourists spend Pesach in the Peruvian city of Cusco.
