One of Talmidei Hashluchim told Chabadinfo: “I was particularly moved to place a tefillin on the grandfather of one of the players, and it was very more moving to see that it had been several years since the last time he was able to place tefillin himself.”
Another Shliach said: “This is not a sports event you usually see, when you see the joy of the people who have such an opportunity to place tefillin inside the stadium without being ashamed!”.
“It was even more special when players from both teams came to put on Teffilin.” another added.
