In a late-night operation, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) demolished the home of Jamal Abu Haniyeh, a terrorist involved in a deadly shooting attack in the city of Qalqilya.
Abu Haniyeh, a member of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad cell, was responsible for the fatal shooting of Israeli civilian Amnon Muchtar on June 22. According to the IDF, the terrorist was killed in August during a drone strike near Tulkarem, alongside eight other operatives.
The demolition of Abu Haniyeh’s home is part of the IDF’s ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks and hold those involved in such attacks accountable.
IDF Drone Strike Eliminates 10 Terror Operatives in West Bank
In a targeted drone strike overnight in the West Bank town of Tamun, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated 10 terror operatives, including two individuals responsible for a deadly bombing attack.
The IDF confirmed that Omar Basharat and Muntaser Ali Muhammad Bani Odeh, who were behind the January 20 bombing in Tamun that killed Sgt. First Class (res.) Eviatar Ben Yehuda and injured several others, were among those killed. The pair were also linked to other shooting and bombing attacks in the Judea-Samaria region.
