Rabbi Shneor Greenberg, a Chabad Chosid from Beitar Illit, boarded the train from Yerushalayim to Tel Aviv yesterday at 8:00 am.
Rabbi Shneor took advantage of the opportunity on the way to Daven and began to put on Tefillin, but what happened a few moments later caught him by surprise. An elderly reservist in uniform shouted loudly and shamefully at him.
“I put on Tefillin on the train. An elderly soldier came and asked if we were praying here, I told him yes and there is a scheduled Minyan here daily… He started shouting that he would make sure we wouldn’t be able to Daven here and that he would kick us out…” Rabbi Shneor wrote on Twitter.
“You will not pray, go to a synagogue, this is not a synagogue here. Parasites, go with uniforms” the soldier shouted at him.
A woman that does not yet observe Torah and Mitzvos who was traveling on the train responded to the attack and shouted at the man “Shame on you”.

That elderly soldier who was yelling at the woman and she at him, regardless
of the person who was putting on Tephilin, as I understand it, he was yelling at HaShem for October 7. He has every right to scream at HaShem. War after war, terrorists, murders, etc. MHM said many times if it pains someone he will scream.
Why isn’t klal Yisrael screaming with all their cochos, strength. HaShem has groisah platezes, big shoulders, HE can not only take it, I am sure HE is waiting to hear the painful cries of our people. Why aren’t the Yidden sincerely feeling the pain and shouting to the high Heavens?
No, don’t blame that elderly soldier, try to feel the pain of one who has seen so much suffering. Shame on those who do not feel the pain enough to scream.
May HaShem Bless that old soldier, who has lived through so much tragedy, ease his pain and suffering, and send him the Brachah of MHM, Geulah Shlaimah, Bais HaMikdash ha shlishi, and Techias hameisim NOW!
