On Friday, a special memorial took place at the Newark International Airport in New Jersey to commemorate the 9/11 attacks that took place on that day during which a Shliach blew the Shofar for those assembled there.
Among those in attendance was the Rebbe’s Shliach to New Jersey, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, and his son, Rabbi Avraham Kanelsky who is the Shliach of the Newark Airport, along with Rabbi Dovid Wilansky, who blew the Shofar for all those that gathered there.
