Shliach Rabbi Sholom Ber Dickstein came from his Shlichus in Melbourne to Singapore as part of his role as a Shochet and met with the Rishon L’tzion, Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar, Chief Sephardic Rabbi of Yerushalayim who came as a guest of the local community.
Rabbi Dickstein took the opportunity to show Rabbi Amar the Seforim he authored and asked to leave them with him so he can learn them and add his thoughts and comments on it.
Also, Rabbi Dickstein seized the opportunity to pose a series of unique shaalos he encountered from his role as a Shochet who travels to many different communities around the world, where there is no organized Shechita.
