Senators Stand in Solidarity with Israel at the Kosel on Anniversary of October 7th
During a visit to express support and solidarity with Israel, Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal arrived at the Western Wall to mark the first anniversary of October 7th • Full Story, Watch
The senators were warmly welcomed by Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, along with Mordechai Eliav, the CEO of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation. Both expressed gratitude for the senators’ strong and heartfelt support of the Jewish people and the land of Israel.
During their visit, the senators recited silent prayers at the Western Wall, toured the tunnels, and participated in the writing of letters in a unique Torah scroll. This special Torah has been prepared over the past year in memory of the victims and fallen heroes, and it is currently being placed in the Western Wall.
