The 55-page interim report, part of Johnson’s ongoing investigation into vaccine safety, alleges the Biden administration “downplayed” and postponed warnings despite receiving early reports of myocarditis, particularly in young people. Records obtained by subpoena show that as early as February 2021, Israeli health officials had alerted the CDC about rising myocarditis cases following Pfizer vaccinations.
According to the report, internal discussions at the CDC and FDA in May 2021 considered issuing a formal Health Alert Network message, but the agencies opted instead for quieter website updates. The report also references communications between U.S. health officials and vaccine manufacturers Moderna and Pfizer, along with VAERS data identifying a “signal” in young age groups.
The report criticizes the administration’s decision to delay public warnings until June 2021, calling it a failure that may have jeopardized the health of young Americans. It urges full transparency and the release of all withheld documents related to vaccine safety.
