    EnerJew’s ‘School of Madrichim’ Kicks Off New Season in Moscow

    EnerJew, the Jewish Youth Movement in the Former Soviet Union (FSU), recently launched its ‘School of Madrichim’ with an inaugural seminar in Moscow, Russia. The event brought together 30 hand-picked Jewish teenagers from Russia, Belarus, and Azerbaijan, with the aim of nurturing the next generation of talented counselors for non-formal Jewish educational initiatives across the Former Soviet Union Full Story, Photos

    The four-day seminar, which welcomed participants from 26 different cities, focused on equipping future counselors with the latest techniques and tools to run engaging Jewish youth clubs, organize events and activities, manage budgets, create viral content, and teach captivating content in a non-formal and exciting manner.

    EnerJew’s School of Madrichim aims to empower young leaders to take the helm in revitalizing Jewish youth engagement in the former Soviet Union. The program is designed to not only educate but also inspire and cultivate leadership skills within the participants.

    The seminar was expertly organized by a team of professional mentors and young charismatic rabbis who provided invaluable guidance to the attendees. In addition to the practical training, the participants were enriched with a deeper understanding of Judaism and Jewish heritage by rabbis Dan Savinov and Moshe Elkin.

    The EnerJew youth clubs represented at the seminar included Baku, Skolkovo, Mogilev, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Nalchik, Ekaterinburg, Orenburg, Perm, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Birobidzhan, Kaluga, Kaliningrad, Baku, Magnitogorsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Nalchik, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Orenburg, and Vitebsk.
