This morning, the Bris for the son of the Rebbe’s Shliach Rabbi Avraham Baruch Deitch took place in Kaliningrad, Russia.
The name of the baby is Yerachmiel Abba.
Towards the end of the event, one of the community members participating in the Bris ceremony, took it upon himself to get a Bris too! After many years being called by the city’s residents Yevgeny, he finally received his Jewish name ‘Meir Aharon‘.
The Bris was conducted by Rabbi Mordechai Tzvi Salmon of the “Yosef Yitzhak” organization, who came specially from the United States for the occasion.

Rabbi Mordechai Tzvi Salmon, representing the esteemed “Yosef Yitzhak” organization, traveled from the United States to officiate the Bris.
