According to mediators who officially announced the agreement on Wednesday evening, the ceasefire is set to take effect on Sunday at 12:15 PM. The operation to release the hostages, named Wings of Freedom, will commence on the same day with the release of the first hostages. Meanwhile, the IDF is finalizing preparations to ensure the hostages security and safe arrival at hospitals in Israel.

As part of the preparations for their return, senior Israeli officials held meetings with Red Cross representatives to coordinate the safe transportation of the hostages until they are reunited with their families in Israel.

In Israel, extensive preparations are underway for the hostages’ arrival at the border. They will be escorted by Red Cross personnel and handed over to Israeli forces. From there, they will be transferred to medical teams, social workers, and other support staff.

Meanwhile, the IDF continues aerial and ground operations in Gaza as the final timing of the ceasefire is confirmed, with expectations for it to take effect on Sunday.

At the same time, preparations are being made for the release of prisoners from Israeli jails. Authorities are focusing on securing the operation in the face of potential protests and road blockages. Prisoners will be distributed across different locations, with some transferred to the West Bank, others to Gaza, and a portion sent abroad.

The Israeli government said, that the IDF will remain in Gaza until the last hostage is released. However, during the ceasefire, forces will begin withdrawing to a perimeter security zone surrounding the border communities. This measure aims to provide protection and restore a sense of security to the residents. The move is part of a new defense strategy being finalized by Southern Command.

The ceasefire to take effect on Sunday at 12:15 PM.

2. Hostage Release Operation:

•Named Wings of Freedom, the operation will begin on Sunday with the release of the first hostages.

•The agreement outlines a phased release schedule:

•Day 1: 3 hostages released.

•Day 7: 4 hostages released.

•Day 14: 3 hostages released.

•Day 21: 3 hostages released.

•Day 28: 3 hostages released.

•Day 35: 3 hostages released.

•Day 42: Final 14 hostages released.

•There is uncertainty about the condition of the hostages. Some may return in caskets, as Israeli authorities do not know how many are still alive!

3. Prisoner Exchange:

•As part of the agreement, Israel will release 1,000 prisoners serving life sentences, including individuals involved in terror attacks and Gazans arrested after October 7th!

•Released prisoners will be relocated to the West Bank, Gaza, or abroad.

4. IDF Operations and Withdrawal Plan:

•The IDF has stated it will remain in Gaza until all hostages are released.

•During the ceasefire, forces will gradually withdraw to a perimeter security zone around the border communities, ensuring their protection and bolstering residents’ sense of safety.

5. Additional Provisions:

•Israel will allow residents of northern Gaza to return to their homes.

6. Pending Government Approval:

•The Israeli cabinet and government have not yet voted on the deal, leaving it pending final approval.
