Celebrating Yud-Daled Kislev has become a true tradition and highlight at Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati. This year, the Talmidei Hashluchim outdid themselves to make sure that the Talmidim will never forget 14 Kislev of 5777. Days and days were spent planning and preparing for the special event
The newly-renovated dining room of the Yeshiva was transformed into a wedding hall bearing beautifully set tables and decorations! A spectacular full-course meal was also served including delicious desserts. The Talmidim heard words of inspiration from the Hanhallas HaYeshiva and the local shluchim which was followed by joyous dancing to mark the occasion.
After the event, the Talmidim sat for hours for a special Farbrengen with the Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Gershon Avtzon. Rabbi Avtzon farbrenged in length about the Hayom Yom (26 Shevat) which states “Ahava, affection, is the breath of life in the Avoda of Chassidus. It is the thread that binds Chassidim to each other, that binds the Rebbe to Chassidim and Chassidim to the Rebbe.”
Many general and personal hachlatos were made at the culmination of the night. All who were there felt that this was truly an evening filled with Hiskashrus and simcha which helped strengthen each one to be Mekabel Moshiach Tzidkeinu.
