As the new academic year, Shnas Halimudim 5785, approaches, Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch – Queens is delighted to share exciting news. Following recent updates on new staff members joining the esteemed yeshiva, the Vaad Hapoel (executive committee) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rabbi Sholom Dovid Geisinsky as the new Rosh Yeshiva. Rabbi Geisinsky is dedicated to elevating the yeshiva’s Limud Hatorah standards to unprecedented heights.
Rabbi Geisinsky’s distinguished background includes learning at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch in Montreal under the guidance of the revered Horav HaGaon Rabbi Pinchas Hirschprung, Chief Rabbi of Montreal, as one of his closest Talmidim. As a young scholar, he was part of the select group of student shluchim to the Yeshiva Gedolah in Melbourne, Australia.
Rabbi Geisinsky brings a wealth of experience in leadership, having served as Rav in Monsay, in Chinuch at Mesivta of Oholei Torah, and more recently as a mashpia in Tomchei Tmimim Central – 770 on behalf of the Igud Talmidei Hakvutzah, while also serving as the Rabbi of the Chabad community ‘Beis Shimshon’ in Crown Heights.
Now, as the newly appointed Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch – Queens, Rabbi Geisinsky joins a team of dedicated staff members committed to this sacred work and Shlichus.
