President Herzog Receives Shmura Matzah from Chabad Shluchim Ahead of Pesach
In a pre-Pesach tradition, Israeli President Isaac Herzog welcomed a delegation of Chabad Shluchim to the Presidential Residence this week, where he was presented with a gift of shmura matzah in honor of the upcoming holiday • Read More, Photos
The delegation was led by Rabbi Yaakov Gloiberman, accompanied by his son Reb Betzalel, Reb Zalman Wolf, and Hatomim Menny Wolf.
President Herzog warmly received the guests, inquired about Chabad’s global outreach efforts, and said a “L’chaim” in honor of the Rebbe’s birthday. He extended personal blessings for a kosher and joyous Pesach, asking the delegation to convey his heartfelt wishes to Chabad chassidim and shluchim worldwide.
As part of the visit, Rabbi Gloiberman presented the President with a special edition of the Rebbe’s Haggadah.
