In an emotional and festive event, a seudas hodaaha was held at Yeshivas Chayolei Beis Dovid, to celebrate the full recovery of Hatomim Shneur Zalman Blesofsky, who miraculously recovered, together with the Bochurim who survived the accident uninjured, after their van overturned into a ditch exactly one year ago.
As Chabadinfo first reported last year, a van with 13 Bochurim returning from 770 after spending Chof Beis Shvat with the Rebbe overturned into a ditch. The Bochurim were transported to the hospital, and miraculously most of them were left uninjured and released at the hospital.
Hatomim Shneur Zalman Blesofsky was seriously injured and remained in serious condition for several weeks, after which he began rapidly recovering. Zalman was released from the hospital after Pesach. He was then transferred to a rehabilitation center, where he spent a few weeks continuing his recovery.
Last week, on the anniversary of the crash, Zalman together with those involved in the accident, celebrated the miraculous events with a seudas hodaaha that was held at Yeshivas Chayolei Beis Dovid in the Poconos.
Following the seudah, joyous dancing broke out.

Baruch HaShem! It warms my heart to see this celebration for the young man, Shneur Zalman Blesofsky, who was seriously injured and has miraculously recovered and for the other young men who were miraculously not as seriously injured. May G-d continue to bless and protect them, their families, the entire YTT “family,” and all of klal Yisroel.
