In preparation for the upcoming Simchas Beis Hashoevah, organizers, Badatz representatives, CH askonim and the NYPD recently met to discuss initiatives aimed at strengthening the Kedusha and preserving the authentic Chassidishe atmosphere of the celebration.
Participating in the meeting were musician R’ Yossi Cohen, NYPD Community Affairs representatives Sgt. Mike Barreta and PO Jonathan Connors, Rav and member of the Badatz of Crown Heights Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, and Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz. R’ Meir Deren and Mr. Yaakov Berman attended virtually.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from all participants to continue brainstorming, double their efforts and work together to ensure that this year’s Simchas Beis Hashoevah is a safe, successful and truly uplifting celebration.
