While visiting the Paris Jewish community, Rabbi David Yosef, Israel’s Sephardic Chief Rabbi, paid an uplifting visit to Beis Mencachem school—one of the Chabad “Sinai” educational network in France, which is directed by Shliach, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Pevzner.
The renowned Chabad “Sinai School” system is one of the largest school systems in France, with over 3,500 students studying daily in the six buildings belonging to the network and spread across several neighborhoods in Paris.
During the visit, the Rishon Letzion affixed a Mezuza to the entrance of the school building, which was recently renovated.
Afterwards, Rabbi Yosef delivered words of encouragement and brachos for the students, teachers, and parents who joined and participated in the moving event.
