On Sunday, Zayin Kislev, a special avos u’banim seder was held for the parents (many of whom are French Shluchim) of the talmidim at Lubavitch Yeshiva in Cergy, located on the outskirts of Paris. During the Seder the fathers and sons learned the Rebbe’s sicha on the theme of Shlichus.
Later, a Kinus Hashluchim banquet was held for the students and parents, organized by the Talmidei Hashluchim of the yeshiva.
During the Farbrengen, the emphasis was on the end of the mission of the shluchim as messengers. As well as the Rebbe’s desire to make Hachlatos Tovos.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Davidovich, the Rosh Yeshiva, spoke about the fact that the Shliach represents the meshaleiach. The Mashpia Roshi, Rabbi Shmuel Lubecki. came to the AHC and spoke about the Rebbe’s concern for every Jew. Some parents spoke about the importance of the Rebbe’s shluchim. And finally, the shluchim shared stories with those present.
At the end, after the roll call, the Talmidim with their fathers and the Hanhala stood up for a group photo. Immediately, they began singing and dancing at the conclusion of this powerful Farbrengen
