The shluchim of panama bring down Soferim, Rabbi Rachamim & Levi Ladaev, from crown heights, to get their teffilin and mezusos checked.
At their arrival to panama the shliach gave the community members a class on the importance of getting their teffilin checked.
During the inspection the sofrim found many pussul teffilin, and non-kosher straps (straps need to be panted and not glued on). One man wore a pair of teffilin that was missing word for over twenty years!
