In partnership with Chabad’s representative at the Jerusalem Municipality, Rabbi Yaakov Halperin, dozens of Menorahs have once again been placed throughout the city this year.

At key locations — the Central Bus Station, Kikar Tzion Square, and Jaffa Gate at the foot of the Old City walls — nightly candle-lighting ceremonies will take place, featuring Rabbonim, public figures, and local residents. These joyous events will be filled with singing, dancing, and Torah teachings, creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration.

The giant Menorahs, which have become a beloved symbol of light and unity for Yerushalayim’s residents and visitors, are also displayed in numerous neighborhood locations. The goal is to bring the festival’s light to every corner of the city, fostering a spirit of togetherness and connection.

Rabbi Yaakov Halperin, Chabad’s representative at the municipality, expresses his gratitude on behalf of the Chabad emissaries to the Jerusalem Municipality, Mayor Moshe Leon, and all those who contributed to the success of this meaningful project. He invites the public to join in the nightly lightings and share in the joy of the Chanukkah festivities.
