In a significant escalation of military action, the Israeli Defense Forces launched a series of airstrikes yesterday across southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, reportedly targeting over 1,600 locations linked to terrorist activities. This wave of airstrikes has surpassed the intensity seen during the 2006 Lebanon War.
According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, the strikes have resulted in at least 492 fatalities and 1,645 injuries. The ministry has not provided a breakdown of casualties, leaving it unclear how many were terrorists versus “civilians”.
