“When I hold the guitar, ideas for melodies come to me, and gradually they connect to the lyrics,” Aaron Sitbon shares about his process of composing the songs he releases. “In the new song, I was also inspired by songs from the 70s, and suddenly the melody connected instantly with the very special words from Psalms.”
The lyrics of the song connect to the month of mercy and forgiveness and are also well-suited to the wartime period. “King David thanks God and promises to honor His name forever, ‘For Your kindness is great upon me, and You have saved my soul from the depths of the grave’ – with all the darkness around us, at every moment miracles happen for which we give thanks and ask G-d to have mercy on His people and continue to protect us with visible miracles.”
Sitbon, who has released dozens of songs so far, sings with full emotional depth the words from the Psalms, captivating the listener with his unique rhythm and expression.
Aaron Sitbon is known for his previous hit songs such as “Av HaRachaman,” “Ana Hashem,” “Horini Hashem,” “Libbi Homah Lecha,” and more. In his many songs, Sitbon succeeds in touching the soul of everyone who listens to or sings his songs, connecting deeply with the special emotion that bursts forth from them and filling the listener with prayer and gratitude to the Creator and a plea for redemption.
