The incident occurred during a nighttime operation as Israeli forces conducted searches in the area. The explosive was planted in advance by Hamas Terrorists. Among the injured are the commander of Battalion 6310 and the deputy commander of Division 252. All wounded soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment and their families have been notified.
The IDF spokesperson reported that over the past 24 hours, approximately 60 terror targets were struck across Gaza. In northern Gaza, troops from Division 252 eliminated two armed Terrorists advancing toward IDF forces. Meanwhile, in Rafah, forces from Division 36 struck a booby-trapped building used by Hamas Terrorists posing an immediate threat.
IDF troops continue operations in southern Gaza, targeting and destroying both above-ground and underground terror infrastructure.
