As always, Chabad of Auckland, New Zealand were among the first to welcome the holiday of Purim, being situated near the dateline. Dozens of backpackers and travelers gathered for a grand celebration and Farbrengen in the at the Chabad House headed by the Shliach R’ Aharon Elyokim.
This year the celebration was accompanied with immense joy in light of the return of tourism to New Zealand after the COVID shutdowns.
