The World’s Largest Menorah, a New York City icon and the world’s premier menorah, brings light to the city. On Sunday evening, The guest of honor was Philip Ozuah, CEO of NYC’s Montefiore Health System. Those attending the event was treated to free donuts and Menorah for participants.
The iconic menorah – organized by Rabbi Shmuel Butman of Lubavitch Youth Organization – towers above New York City at a whopping 36 feet in the air – tallest according can be Halacha.
Throughout the holiday of Chanukah, public official and other important guest are honored to light the Menorah including NY Governor Kathy Hochul, among others.
