Menlo Park, the ‘Capital of Venture Capital,’ is strategically situated in Silicon Valley, hosting top employers like Meta, SRI International, and Pacific Biosciences. This charming city of 33,000 residents boasts tree-lined neighborhoods, thriving commercial districts, scenic views of the San Francisco Bay, and a mild climate with 265 sunny days a year.

With a strong Jewish presence, Menlo Park and the Bay Area rank among the top 5 regions in the US for Jewish communities. This vibrant neighborhood has been expanding, attracting young Jewish families seeking opportunities in tech and beyond.

To serve the growing needs of Menlo Park’s Jewish community, Rabbi Shlomo Cunin has appointed Rabbi Dovid and Esty Geisinsky to establish a new Chabad center, under the guidance of Rabbi Yosef Levin, director of Chabad of Greater South Bay.

Rabbi Dovid Geisinsky, a native of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was educated in Chabad yeshivas in New York, Toronto, and New Haven, CT. He engaged in deep Torah study, personal development, and mentoring programs. His Jewish outreach experiences spanned the globe, from Central London to Nigeria, Greece, Venice, and the Virgin Islands.

Esty Geisinsky (née Levin), raised in neighboring Palo Alto, was actively involved in her family’s Chabad house from a young age. She taught Hebrew school, connected with local seniors, and even baked and sold challah from age 11. As a skilled event planner, Esty has served communities in New Jersey, Salt Lake City, Hawaii, and New York.

Together with their 1-year-old daughter, Luba, the Geisinskys aim to create a warm, welcoming community and Chabad center with open doors for every Jew.  Through your partnership, they will facilitate Jewish education and holiday and life cycle celebrations, creating a vibrant, inclusive hub for the Menlo Park Jewish community.

Join Dovid, Esty, and Luba in shaping Menlo Park’s Jewish future. Support their mission and help build a thriving community that inspires connection, learning, and joy.
