Rabbi Moshe and Chaya Sasonkin are heading out on Shlichus to Casa Grande, AZ to ensure the continuity of Jewish life in the city in between Phoenix and Tucson.
Rabbi Moshe Sasonkin was born in Youngstown, Ohio where his parents served as directors of Chabad of Youngstown. They later relocated to Patchogue, NY to establish a Chabad Center. Rabbi Moshe Sasonkin received his education in Israel,and in Rabbinical College of Quebec, Canada. He then received Rabbinical ordination in Brooklyn, NY and had an internship at a Chabad Yeshiva in Argentina. Rabbi Moshe Sasonkin’s experience of outreach has taken him worldwide from India to New Mexico.
Mrs Chaya Sasonkin grew up in Tucson, AZ where her parents serve as the directors of Chabad on River strengthening Jewish life. She has studied in Chicago, IL and in Jerusalem, Israel. Chaya has dedicated herself to Jewish community outreach throughout the US including Bethesda, MA, Birmingham, Alabama, Plano, Texas and in Victoria, British Columbia.
After visiting Casa Grande, AZ in 2020 Rabbi Moshe & Chaya Sasonkin decided to relocate and establish a Chabad Center and a home for Jewish life.
