In honor of The Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach’s birthday on Yud-Alef Nissan, members of the “Vaad Nigunei Lubavitch” gathered for long hours, listening attentively to dozens of niggunim composed by Anash and temimim from around the world, in order to choose the official niggun for Kapitel 125 in Tehillim.
This year’s panel of Baalei Menagnim included: R’ Eliyahu Edelman, R’ Shneur Zalman Baumgarten, R’ Menachem Mendel Jerufi, R’ Yisroel Yitzchok Zalmanov, R’ Shneur Zalman Laufer, R’ Shneur Zalman Lipskier, and R’ Menachem Mendel Farber.
By majority vote, the selected Niggun is the composition of Hatomim Meir Sasonkin.
