New Mechina has a clear mandate from the parents: To deliver a Mechina program focusing on learning skills, while increasing the Temimim’s Yiras Shamayim and Chasidishe Hanhagos.
…Mendel is a frum boy with Yiras Sahmayim, who just celebrated his Bar Mitzvah. He is motivated to learn, but feels his skills are not fully developed. He understands clearly that a solid learning base coupled with an environment conducive to growing in Chasidishe Hanhagos is crucial to succeeding in Yeshivos today. The upcoming year is a critical time for his future.
… Shlomi grew up on Shlichus in a place with no yeshiva. His parents kept him in the local Jewish day school as long as possible but now that he is older, Shlomi he very much wants to be like his father and go to Yeshiva. His learning skills are not up to par and he needs a transition year to help him acquire the proper methodology to decode Gemara.
