A dedicated group of activists from the Crown Heights community is addressing the ongoing accommodation shortage during the month of Tishrei with an exciting new initiative.
In response to the dramatic rise in rental prices for apartments near 770 in recent years—reaching unprecedented levels this year—a new project is underway to create a covered, air-conditioned lodging facility within walking distance of 770.
The planned facility will offer spacious and well-equipped rooms, featuring high-quality beds and mattresses. While the project is still in its preliminary stages, it has already received strong support from the local community council and neighborhood Rabbonim.
This initiative aims to significantly increase the number of available accommodations, meet the growing demand, and help stabilize rental prices during the Tishrei season.
