New Delhi, India: Delegation of Dayanim and Government Officials Visit Chabad
Chabad of South Delhi recently hosted a special delegation of Dayanim and Israeli government representatives. The delegation was led by Rabbi Yaakov Zamir, Av Beit Din of the Rabbinical Supreme Court, accompanied by seven distinguished Dayanim • Read More, Photos
Joining them were Mr. Moshe Pines, Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and Head of the Population Administration, and Mr. Almog Moskowitz, Director of Missions for the Jewish Agency, along with other dignitaries.
The delegation was warmly received at the Chabad House by the Rebbe’s Shsliach and Rabbi of the South Delhi Jewish community, Rabbi Shneur Kupchik. The visit included Shacharis, followed by a hearty breakfast and a heartfelt meeting with the Shluchim.
At the conclusion of their tour in India, the delegation was hosted by the Deputy Ambassador of Israel in New Delhi.
The guests expressed great admiration for the sacred work of the Chabad House in Delhi and for the moving display of connection to the Rebbe.
