New: ‘Chanukah with the Rebbe’ Board Book

After the success with their ‘Tishrei with the Rebbe’ board book, the personalized print-on-demand publisher Alef Book has done it again with a truly unique book for Chanukah.
Alefbook.org launched less than a year ago, and has since printed hundreds of beautiful custom-designed children’s books, focusing on their flagship board book Siddur. The Snapfish-style online designer makes it quick and easy to upload photos and edit the colors and more, for a book as personal as davening should be. From toddlers to teenagers, these adorable books have wowed the Crown Heights market and have become an effective new resource for Shluchim.
“As the second book in this series, we want to illustrate how this connection takes place throughout the year; always. Children are always front and center in Chanukah, and especially by the Rebbe. We were able to bring that out again through photos – and this time with rhyming text for kids and with full Hebrew text as well.”
Rayi Stern of Alef Book points out that their really is so much going on during Chanukah with the Rebbe. “RebbeDrive really packed so much so seamlessly into this little board book. And of course we included the Menorah lighting brachos for you too.”
The book includes the Chanukah Live production, as well as Chanukah Mivtzoim and Public Menorah Lightings. Alternating color and black and white photos against a bright kid-friendly layout, each page has just enough text – culled from sichos for children – to provide context. The designers were able to illustrate seamlessly the Chanukah events.
Truly a remarkable new book, this opens a new chapter in including this key demographic – our own children – in such a central part of our year and our lives. Going beyond teaching about everything Chanukah and Chanukah with the Rebbe can mean, this board book brings it all to life and immerses a child in that reality.
