NE Pennsylvania Yeshivos Join Together For Yud Daled Kislev Farbrengen
In honor of the Anniversary of the Rebbe MH”M and the Rebbetzin this Yud Daled Kislev, Tomchei Temimim of the Poconos invited all Yeshivas in Northeastern Pennsylvania (Bais Menachem AKA “Wilkes Barre yeshiva”, Beis Shneur, Chayolei Beis Dovid, Mesivta D’Kinston, and Machon Aharon), to join in for a hakhel farbrengen and dancing, in a wedding style atmosphere • Full Story, Photos
In honor of the Anniversary of the Rebbe MH”M and the Rebbetzin this Yud Daled Kislev, Tomchei Temimim of the Poconos invited all Yeshivas in Northeastern Pennsylvania to join in for a hakhel farbrengen and dancing, in a wedding style atmosphere.
Under the Menahel at TTP (Tomchei Temimim Poconos) Rabbi Mendel Silman, the Talmidim have organized a beautiful banquet farbrengen joined by youth development program Bais Menachem AKA “Wilkes Barre yeshiva”, Beis Shneur, Chayolei Beis Dovid, Mesivta D’Kinston, and Machon Aharon.
The evening began with live welcoming music played by Yossi Forester (Wilkes) on the drums, Dovid Chaim Boteach (Wilkes) on the guitar, and Yossi Blokh (M.S.) on the keyboard.
All bochrim washed and sat down for a delicious four course meal.
MC Hatomim Yossi Hendel of TTP welcomed everyone and called up Zalman Klasner from Wilkes Yeshiva to recite the Rebbes Kapitel.
Rabbi Shmuly Newman, mashpia at TTP gave a synopsis of the Maamer Basi Legani.
Yair Cohen, Maggid Shiur at Bais Menachem talked about Hakhel in general and how the diversity of Yeshivas makes this hakhel even greater.
Rabbi Aronson Mashpia in Mesivta D’Kinston talked about the Avodah that this day called upon us.
Rabbi Matusof, Mashpia in TTP, spoke about the Tshurah the Friediker Rebbe prepared for the wedding and how it’s all about us getting along.
Throughout the evening you could feel the pleasantness of Sheves Achim Gam Yachad.
After benching, Hatomim Mendy Hillel of TTP played Daled Bovot beautifully on the violin which led to joyful dancing into the night.
A special thanks to all Yeshivas for coordinating together and the bochrim who made the event happen.
