Last night, after reading the Megillah in Moscow, the dedication of a new Sefer Torah was held at the Marina Roscha Shul in central Moscow, led by Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar, who was honored to write the final letter. The Torah was sponsored by a community friend, Mr. Yosef Yitzchak Sandler.
After the joyous Hakafos took place, a Seudas Mitzvah and large Farbrengen were held.
During the evening as well as the day of Purim, multiple readings of the Megillah were done. In addition, thousands of Mishloach Manos were distributed to members of the community by Shluchim and students of Chabad yeshivos in Moscow.
