Over 300 participated in the opening ceremony of the new building for the ‘Beis Chabad Mada’, also known as ‘Mada Community Center’, of Montreal, Canada.
The mayor of Montreal Denis Coderre participated at the event, as well as many city counsellor and member of the city’s executive committee. Consul General of Israel, Ziv Nevo Kulman was there as well.
The center helps out the community with many needs, including cloth, food and furniture. The event was organized by the director of the center Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Cohen.
