Each year, Boulder, Colorado hosts the “Boulder Jewish Festival”, featuring entertainment, children’s activities, local artists and ethnic food, as well as representatives from the various Jewish organizations in Boulder County. This one-day event is a celebration of Jewish Culture.
This year’s festival took place on Sunday, 20 Sivan at the Pearl Street Mall. Standing at the forefront of this exciting celebration is Rabbi Pesach & Chany Scheiner, Shluchim of Boulder, CO.
The Scheiners host two popular booths each year. Rabbi Scheiner runs the first booth, inviting the visitors to put on Tefillin, their kids to enjoy making an exciting take-home craft and the opportunity to bring various Jewish paraphernalia home.
In addition, the Scheiner’s ‘claim to fame’ is their second booth, the only Kosher food booth at the festival. With hot dogs, hamburgers, and even Knishes, people flock to this popular food station for the once a year opportunity to eat authentic Kosher food in Boulder.
