Yeshivah Torah Ohr of Miami organized a Kinus Torah with a twist.
To start off the kinus, the Mashpia Rabbi Shmuel Mendelsohn shared a beautiful message about how Chasidus deepens our perspective on Shavous and life in general.
This was followed by a fascinating discussion about common Yomtov Halachic issues led by the Yeshivah administrator Rabbi Immanuel Storfer.
Rosh Yeshivah, Rabbi Yisroel Geisinsky pointed out the significance of the day before going on to analyze various details in the most important event in our History.
What followed next was quiet exceptional as every single student and shliach participated by sharing a Torah insight or original idea, as well as some designated participants from the community who frequent the Yeshiva.
It was really special to hear them discuss various ideas related to Shavous the Parsha or the Talmud as they turned the originally two hour program into a full day event.
The successful event gave all the students, some who have only been in Yeshiva for a few months the opportunity to fulfill a directive of the Rebbe about the importance of Torah Study, especially after Shavuos.
