Another milestone in the growth of Jewish life in Jurmala: A festive mezuzah dedication ceremony was held at the new Chabad House on the main street of the Latvian resort city, led by the city’s Chabad Shliach, Rabbi Mendy Zilberstrom.
Dozens of participants attended the event to take part in the emotional moment and celebrate the expansion of Jewish activities in the city.
The event marked the beginning of the final stage of renovations at the new Chabad House, which will serve as a Jewish center for local residents and the many visitors who frequent Jurmala throughout the year.
Dozens of guests joined the celebration, sharing in the special occasion and marking the continued growth of Jewish life in the city.
The guest of honor was Josh Aronson, the Jewish and Diaspora correspondent for the Israeli newspaper Maariv, who captivated attendees with his personal and moving story about his connection to the Rebbe, the mission of Shlichus, and the Rebbe’s lasting impact around the world.
