The Rebbe taught this Niggun on Simchas Torah night 5720 – 1960, after the Hakafos in the early hours of the morning, saying that it should first be sung slowly, with introspection and humility, and later with increasing joy. The Rebbe explained that during the “Tavirei Liba” (broken heart), one can be confident that their prayer is truly heard.
