Large Turnout At The Toronto Lag Ba’Omer Parade

Some 5,000 people took to the streets of Toronto for a grand Lag Ba’Omer parade expressing Jewish unity • Full Story, Photos

Everyone gathered at the Earl Bails Park Amphitheater for a awesome program including a Circus Show and concert with Mendy Shapiro.

Representatives, children of every Chabad house came up to recite the 12 Pesukim, the parade was led by the Tzivos Hashem Marching Band. Special video presentations by Itche Kadoozy and Rabbi B, made just for our Toronto Lag Baomer were used to make the Psukim so much more exciting.

Police closed off the entire main road Bathurst Street. And came with mountain police. To both secure and help in the event

Jewish themed floats made by Ohr tmimim Mesivta, Mesivta Labavitch Toronto and teshiva laubavitch Toronto.

All then Joined for a full day festival!

Inflatables, rides, carnival, BBQ and food court, Train, carnival booths, concession machines, bonfire, game truck and more at both events, the Lag Baomer spirit was felt in the air!

In an amazing expression of unity, Shluchim of the grater Toronto area got together to arrange this year’s Lag Baomer parade and celebration.
