Reflecting on the moment, Rabbi Litvin shared: “I went downtown and gave out blankets and socks to homeless people in the snow and cold. As I was about to leave, a barefoot woman approached me and asked if we had any shoes. Realizing I would be home in 20 minutes, I took off my shoes and gave them to her.”
While distributing blankets and supplies to homeless individuals, Rabbi Litvin noticed the woman standing barefoot in 8 inches of snow. Without hesitation, he removed his own boots and gave them to her, braving the cold to ensure she was taken care of.
