Earlier today, Thursday, Kfar Chabad held elections for the Vaad of Kfar Chabad, a committee created at the request of the Frierdiker Rebbe and tasked with overseeing all mundane issues of the village.
The elected member of the Vaad are: Nachman Raichman, Yaackov Kenig, Zami Lipsker, Shneur Michoelshvili, Yedidya Chasin, Yitzchok Amity and Yisroel Yeret.
The Rov of Kfar Chabad, Rabbi Meir Ashkenazi, was heavily involved in the elections, and was very satisfied that the members he supported, were the members that the community came out to support.
Three of the members were on the previous Vaad, while four of the members did not serve in the previous committee.
Seven members were elected in the Vaad. There was a total of 14 people running for the position.
Here are the final counts for the seven elected members:
