One of the most difficult challenges we ever face in our lives is crossing the ‘bridge’ of transitioning from youth to young adulthood and the accompanying search for identity, purpose, and meaning that comes with it.

Furthermore some young people have been victims of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, or are simply jaded by the hypocrisy of their leaders, teachers, or parents.  They have heard too many times, “do as I say, not as I do” and have had enough.  Such life experiences could leave deep scars that manifest into loneliness, depression or anger leading to an array of illicit behavior, including drug or alcohol dependence.

What if there was a better choice for them?  A warm, welcoming and fun place in the community where they feel comfortable enough to express themselves openly and freely without being judged?  A place where there were guides and mentors they could look up to, who were able to replace the void with purpose, meaning and happiness?

We believe that there should be such a place, and that is why we established The Center, a place where we provide a warm, fun and non-judgmental environment for young Jewish youth, equip them with the requisite tools to overcome the challenges of transitioning to emerging adulthood, and guide them towards discovering their own unique and fulfilling life purpose.
