Throughout the exceptional evening event, graduates and students shared memories and heartfelt words, emphasizing their gratitude to the founders—Rabbi Avraham, the Chief Rabbi of Odesa and South Ukraine, and Mrs. Chaya Wolff—and to the teachers and directors for the profound impact the school had on their connection to Judaism. They spoke of the warm and caring environment they received and the high level of education and achievements made possible by the school’s dedication.
Historical photos and video clips from the past 25 years were presented on the screens, along with congratulatory messages sent by graduates from around the globe. Special moments were also dedicated to prayers for peace and safety worldwide.
Another highlight of the event was the Bar Mitzvah and 13th birthday celebration of five of the school’s current students, who expressed their gratitude and were presented with special gifts.
“This is only the beginning,” said Rabbi Wolff. “Twenty-five years is indeed a long time, but in our eyes, we have only just begun the journey. Every single child in Odesa and southern Ukraine deserves an excellent Jewish education, infused with ideals, a sense of inspiration, and a genuine and uplifting connection to their roots and heritage. We plan to continue making this aspiration a reality.”
