The three-day event, organized by shliach and chief rabbi of Haditch and the surrounding region, Rabbi Schneur Zalman Deitsch, brought together Jewish residents from across the area. The seminar, which began on Thursday, featured Megillah readings, Mishloach Manos, and other Purim traditions, marking a significant moment for the local Jewish community.
Similar Purim activities were also held in Myrhorod, the largest city in the region, where a small but active Jewish community participated in the Yom Tov celebrations.
With Purim behind them, organizers are now shifting focus to preparations for Pesach. Rabbi Deitsch announced plans for a special Pesach seminar in Haditch, along with large communal Sedarim in 12 cities and towns throughout the region, ensuring that hundreds of Jews will be able to celebrate Yom Tov despite the ongoing challenges.
