Israel Prepares to Receive Bodies of Four Hostages from Hamas in Exchange Deal

As part of the arrangement, Hamas is expected to provide the names of the murdered hostages in the morning. Later in the day, IDF ambulances will be stationed at a designated meeting point to receive the bodies, which will then be transported directly to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute for identification.
In exchange for the return of the bodies, Israel has agreed to release all women and minors under the age of 19 who have been detained in Gaza since October 8, 2023.
Additionally, a seventh phase of the ongoing hostage deal is scheduled to take place on Saturday, during which three Israeli hostages are expected to be released.
The developments come amid continued mediation efforts, as Israel works to bring home both living hostages and the remains of those killed in captivity.
