As the School year has been to a good start, so have the Igud’s programs geared to Mechanchim.
45 Mechanchim and many more Mechanchim and Mechanchos online attended an eye opening, most uplifting event at a Special Evening for Teachers arranged by the Lubavitch Chinuch organization Igud Hamelamdim.
The event titled “Tracht Gut Vet Zein Gut (positivity) in Chinuch” hosted renowned Mechanech and Mashpia Rabbi Nachman Yosef Twerski who in his fascinating manner elaborated on positive chinuch on a whole new level!
It’s no secret he said that we find ourselves in uneasy times, but why is it that often when the youth finds it hard, it gets expressed in a decrease in Yiddishkeit, complaining on Hashem?
The solution to that is in “Tracht Gut Vet Zein Gut” he said.
He then went on to explore at length the two secrets that are incorporated in that phrase.
1 – Tracht Gut: Instill, ingrain, infuse the students with the foundation of Tov Hashem Lakol, the richness of being a Yid, the Ashreinu, the Ata Bchartunu, the Uhavta oisanu.
2 – Tracht Gut: View a student with a positive light, see him as great potential and he will reflect just that.
Rabbi Twerski enthralled the participants with many anecdotes and personal stories that he himself witnessed throughout his years in Chinuch.
The participants marveled over the one hour presentation, and as one participant voiced: A Groisen Yashar Koach for last night it was Mammesh Geshmack and uplifting. I’m looking forward for more. Yashar Koach!!
Director of Igud Hamelamdim Rabbi Avrohom Bluming commented: Our Mechanchim and Mechanchos are top notch devoted heart and soul with positivity to their students, I applaud them for taking time of their busy schedules for a refresher a re-energizer in educating through “Tracht Gut Vet Zein Gut”.
This session was the second session of a 4 week series on “Positivity in Chinuch” arranged by Igud Hamelamdim.
